The Coalfield Communities Federation (CCF) was established in 1999 to integrate the activities of and play a key role in developing and realising the objectives of East Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership (CPP), formerly know as East Ayrshire Social Inclusion Partnership.

The CCF receives core funding from CPP and strives to develop ways of ensuring that local communities can participate in the development of the Partnership and local projects. The CCF is pro-active in raising awareness of social inclusion initiatives and works in partnership with CPP to encourage the regeneration of local communities.
